Our Team

“Everyday we truly are humbled that we get to play all day on the water, while passing along our love for the West Coast. Thank you so much!”

Majestic Ocean kayaking is proud to be a member of; and we follow the operating standards of the Sea Kayak Guides Alliance of British Columbia.

All our guides are certified kayak guides, with wilderness first aid and cpr training. Our guides are very committed to working at Majestic Ocean Kayaking, some have been with us for several years, they come back to enjoy the beauty of the area, the wildlife, and because they love kayaking around Ucluelet.

We provide in house training for all our staff every year to review the systems that we have in place, the safety procedures, rescues and emergency protocols. We have a lot of fun together getting really technical about our paddling and teaching skills, something that we can pass on to our clients.

Beyond our certification requirements, when selecting our guides, we look for people who have an impressive paddling career background, a lifetime of outdoor adventure experience and training.

Many of our guides are bilingual, they are knowledgeable about the natural environment, the history of the area and the wildlife.
